Illimani is the highest mountain in the Cordillera Real (part of the Cordillera Oriental, a subrange of the Andes) of western Bolivia. It lies just south of La Paz at the eastern edge of the Altiplano. It is the second highest peak in Bolivia, after Nevado Sajama, and the eighteenth highest peak in South America.

Illimani es la montaña más alta de la Cordillera Real (parte de la Cordillera Oriental, que se desprende de los Andes) en el occidente de Bolivia. Se ubica al sur de La Paz en el extremo oriente del Altiplano. Es el segundo pico más alto de Bolivia, después del Nevado Sajama, y el dieciochoavo pico más alto de Sudamérica.
